The number of units you’ll need depends on your facial anatomy, muscle strength, and desired results. As a general guide: For Botox®: • Frown lines: 20 units • Forehead lines: 8 - 18 units • Crow’s feet: 6 - 15 units per side For Dysport®: • Frown lines: 50 units • Forehead lines: 20 - 40 units • Crow’s feet: 15 - 35 units per side We’ll assess your individual needs during your consultation and recommend the right dose.

Both are brands of botulinum toxin that relax muscles and reduce wrinkles. A single unit of Botox has about 2.5 times the potency of a unit of Dysport. This doesn’t mean that Botox works better, but rather that more Dysport is needed to achieve the same effect. As a trade-off, the price of a Dysport unit is less than that of a Botox unit, so you’ll spend about the same amount of money to achieve similar results.

Everyone’s pain tolerance is different, but most clients find both anti-wrinkle and dermal filler treatments very manageable. Anti-wrinkle injections involve a few small pinpricks and are generally well tolerated with minimal discomfort. Dermal filler treatments may cause mild discomfort, but we use numbing cream and/or fillers that contain built-in anesthetic to make the process as comfortable as possible. The procedure is quick, and most clients find it easily tolerable.
